MY SIMPLE 3"D" STEPS PROCESS OF BRANDING"! "BASICS AND IMPORTANCE" OF PERSONAL BRANDING IN 2020 !

Are you Confuse to Understand how much you know about " Branding ? Or it is still annoying to realise what you need for your personal branding ? 
Here I tried to explain this complex topic in my own words ! My Simple 3D of personal branding. Before we proceed further let's try to understand, What is mean by personal branding ? It is the process of personal branding which involves finding your uniqueness and building a reputation on the things, you want to be known for and allowing yourself to be known for them. Ultimately, the goal is to create something that conveys a message and that can be monetized - By Google.
It's a practice of making people and their careers as brand. It is an ongoing process of developing and maintaining a healthy reputation and impression of an individual, Group or Organisation.
This whole process belongs to understand the importance of personal branding or your personal brand, is a vivid indication of the best you have to offer.i.e. your performance, contribution the brand you - communicate marks your career reputation in some respects of a promise.
How to brand as an individual ? When you googled " Personal Branding" today , you get two millions of results . As google results reveal there is lots of talk about personal branding and virtually every career minded professionals understand it's importance. 
Why personal branding on social media ? 
Whenever we are in public places look around ? So many people are consistently looking at their mobile phones or similar smart gadgets. They could be watching videos, reading an article, playing games, chatting with someone, scrolling through their news feeds or uploading something on the internet.
Today social media gives you the opportunity to build your brand without the help of an external agency,  a PR company or becoming a public figure. It is an opportunity to connect with like minded people, learn, share and inspire.
What is the perpouse of being digital ?
In india education system has always followed a top to bottom approach.
Education boards have imposed certain norms on universities, Who, in turn, bring these norms to the masses through the means of education.
But digital has taken a different route altogether. The purpose of digital is never defined; it is totally differs from person to person. When I ran a survey with hundreds of Indians to understand what their first touch point on digital was, the answers were; Social networking, peer pressure, official communication, research, need, shopping, dating, booking tickets, following celebrities, stalking a friend and means of learning new things.
There are the 5 most important reasons why personal branding on social media matters ?
* To become a industry thought leaders.
* To become a digital rock star.
* To help one get the right job.
* To give your passion a new dimension
* To inspire people by showing your life's journey.
This whole process is based on these 5 major steps.
* Defining your niche.
* Understanding Social media channels, personal branding styles and setting your goals.
* Polishing your social media presence.
* Creating, publishing and promoting your content on social media.
Nurturing your Subscribers consistently.
My Simple 3D for your personal branding
1) Design your Niche ( Know yourself)
Effective brands are based in reality.
For example, Whenever we think of Volvo, we think about safety , that's because valvo builds safe cars. Apple is known for innovations , because every thing they do from their products to their stores to their ginius bars is innovative. While Disney is synonymous with family, entertainment, delivery memorable moments for every generation.
While branding you must focus on authenticity - Who you really are ? That is Design your Niche/Defining your Niche 
It is time to brainstorm your topic?
 * Ask yourself this: what do you enjoy doing the most ?
* What do you want to be recognised as in the industry? 
Your niche is largely depends on the three factors. 
a) Passion: How passionate are you about a particular subject/topic ?
b) Skills and knowledge: How much knowledge do you possess in the subject/topic you are passionate about ?
c) Marketing opportunity/profitability: What is the market opportunity for the topic that you have picked ?
It's not a spin and it's not a packaging ( packaging component) they are uncovered, not created.
Generally most of the people when they think about personal branding, usually they are thinking about , Sexy stuff, Social networking, Writing articles or delevering presentation etc. 
But still if you aren't clear about Who you are ? What sets you apart from the others. What makes you relevant you will ?
Squander your communication efforts but it still not introspection .
2) Demonstrate yourself (Show yourself)
Be clear about what you want to show about yourself accross internet ? 
As I mentioned earlier, Defining your Niche is a complex topic follow these three elements which will help you define your niche.
  # Passion : Make a list of topics that you can talk about every single day and never get tired. Make list of atleast 5 to 10 topics.
# Skills and knowledge : Make a list of topics in which you are more skilled and knowledgeable than the average person.
# Profitability/ Potential Market Opportunities :  This is the largest factor while selecting your niche is market opportunity.
Remember Some niches attracts the mass while others reach out to an interested few. As there is not much demand/ low demand. Which allows works in combinations. I will explain you 
# There Not so popular niche ( for example , B2B IT , HR, Marketing Communication ) = Less Compitative.
# There are very popular niche ( For example, Fassion, Gadgets, Music, Travel and Making Money Online ) = Super Compitative. 
Remember there is no point competing with competitors Instead, find out opportunities to collaborate and focus on becoming as competent as they are.
3) Despatch yourself ( Grow yourself) 
Effective personal branding requires consistent reputation. This is the process of integrating your brand into everything you do by building your credibility.

Do you know the internet revolves around the rule of 1-9-90 ?
The internet revolves around the rule of glob that is .
# Only 1% of internet users are publishers. They publish original content on the internet.
# 9% of internet users are consumers/conversationalists , they react, share and respond to the 1% posts.
# The remaining 90% of the audience on the internet are lookers . They don't publish or even react . They just enjoy the show between the publishers and the conversationalists .
Now just evaluate where you stand in the pyramid. 
It is very necessary to understand the Social media channels and branding you style and setting goals accordingly. It is essential and understanding the value offering of Social media channels. Let's understand the segregation below.
# For Social Publishing : YouTube , Podcast, Blog and Quora 
# For Social Networking : Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
# For Photo based Social Networking : Instagram, Pinterest , Snapchat. 
CONCLUSION : The Most Successful People On The Internet Are The Ones Who Publish  Content Consistently. There is no harm in following Social networking as the only strategic planning. Remember the algorithm of social networking sites keep shifting as per their commercial objectives. You are on the platform where you don't own the audience here and people discover you only through organic searches.
