14 TH JUNE, IN THE MEMORY OF " THE FATHER OF BLOOD GROUPS" !

Birthday anniversary of " Karl Landsteiner" on 14 th June 1868 we clebret a " World blood donors Day" . This day brings a precious opportunity to all donors to celebrate and commemorate the birth day anniversary of " Karl Landsteiner ". A scientist who won the Nobel prize for his Discovery of the ABO blood group system. Why should we know our blood type while there are more than 20 blood type systems incorporated ? ABO and RH are the most important ones . In 1818 British obstetrician and physiologist " Jemes Blundell " performs the first recorded human to human blood transfusion.
