5 ALL TIME FAVORITE! MUST WATCH MOVIES ! IN 2020

This is me ! On the new topic of post, The films I have seen so far, These films are very close to my hart . All time favourite movies, all movies brings Suspence, thriller, drama and even humour in to play to keep audience guessing what the next sence hold. Commen features of these films based on incredible cinematography, Great Camera work , exceptional background music compositions. And all are different from each other. 
I have tried to gave them ratings as per my personal experience and knowledge I have on this topic .
These films are as follows , The Gun's of navarone , Rear Window , Makennas Gold , The Great Train Robbery and The Great Escape .
1) The Gun's of Navarone : The film is based on the 1957 Novel about the story of second world war , written by a Scottish writer " Alistair MacLean" and that was made in to the film " The Gun's of Navarone " in 1961 . The Greek island of Navarone does not exist and the plot is fictional. However , the story takes place within the real historical context of the dodecanese campaign .
The allies campaign to capture the Italian - held Greek island in the Aegean sea in 1943. The story based on the battle of Leros and Loros Islands artillery guns - among the largest nevel artillery guns used during the world war 2 . That were build and used by Italians until Italy Capitulated in 1943 and subsequently used by Germans until there defeat.
The guns of navarone is 1961s British American epic adventure war film directed by J. Lee Thompson , The screen play and produce by Carl Foreman was based on the Alistair MacLeas novel " The Gun's of Navarone ". The film stars , Gregory Peck , David Niven and Anthony Quinn along with Stanley Baker , Anthony Quayle, Lrene Pupas , Gia Slala and Jemes Darren. 
The book and the film share the same basic plot , the efforts of an allied commandos until to destroy a seemingly impregnable Garman fortress that threatens Allied Naval ships in the Aegean sea. The budget for the film was $6 million and scored on box-office collection end up with $28,900,000 at that time.
The film won Academy award for the best effects , special effects ( Bill Warrington & Chris Greenham ) 
# Golden Globe award for the best original score ( Dimitri Tiomkin ) 
The film was nominated for academy awards in best picture , best Director, best original score.
The film also holds a Grammy award for best original score written for a motion picture.
2) The Rear Window : 1954 American Technicolor Mistry Thriller Film , Directed by Alfred Hitchcock and written by John Michael Hayes based on Cornell Woolrichs 1942 Short story " IT HAD To BE MURDER" 
Story line : A professional Photographer " JEFF" is stuck in his apartment, recaperating from a broken leg out of the boredom he begins to spy on his neighbours and comes across the shocking revelation. 
The rear window is 1998 American made for television crime drama thriller film , Directed by "Jeff Bleckner" the teleplay by " Larry Gross" and " Eric Overmyer" is an updated adaption of the classic 1954 film of the same name.
Film has won : Edgar award for the best motion picture and screen play.
Estimated budget for the film was $1 million and box-office collection end up with 36.8 millions of that time.
3) Makennas Gold : 1969 American western film , Directed by again " J. Lee Thompson" staring an ensemble cast featuring , Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif , Telly Savalas , Ted Cassidy , Camilla Sparv , and Julie Newmar in the lead roles . The film was Photographed on Supper Panavision 70mm and Technicolor by Joseph MacDonald with original music composed by Quincy Jones.
The film was based on the novel of the same name written by Heck Allen using pen name Will Henry , telling the story of " how the rule Gold Corrupts a diverse group of peoples . The novel was loosely based on the legend of Last Adams Diggings .
Budget for the film was $7 million and box-office collection end up with $25 millions of that time.
The film was box-office failure in north america , but went on to become major overseas sucses in the regions such as the Soviet union , Central Asia and Indian subcontinent.
4) The Great Train Robbery :  England 1850s , A master Criminal aims to a train of large sum of Gold , Security is incredibly tightand and task seems to be impossible one . However , He has a plan and just the right people to carry it out.
Film Directed by Michael Crichton screen play by himself and based on his own novel.
The film won Academy award for British Society of Cinematographers 1978 . And nominated for best cinematography ( Geoffrey Unsworth and Edgar Allan Poe
Film won the award 1980  Winner of Best motion picture .
Film stars : Sean Connery , Donold Sutherland , Lesley - Anne Down ,  Wayne Sleep , Robert Lang , Alan Webb and Andre Mcrell , Music is scored by Jerry Goldsmith , Cinematography by Geoffrey Unsworth the Story is loosely based on the real great Gold robbery of 1855.
5) The Great Escape : is 1963 American Epic War Film . Staring Steve McQueen , James Garner , and Richard Attenborough and featuring Jems Donald , Charles Bronson , Donold Pleasence , Jems Carburn and Hannes MeSSermer , which was filmed in Panavision Directed by John Sturges and screen play by James Clavell . Best on the novel by Paul Brickhill released on June 20 1963 , the film is based on real real events but divided significantly from the historical records dipicting heavily fictionalized version of the escape including numerous compromises such as featuring Americans among the escapees in order to boost it's commercial appeal.
